This Privacy Policy explains how Viralspace ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects information when you use our platform, websites and services (the "Platform"). By using the Platform you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, password, company name (for Brands) and payout details (for Affiliates). We also collect information generated as you use the Platform, including campaigns you create, tracking links you generate, Wallet transactions and support communications.

Through our tracking system, when a visitor arrives via a campaign or tracking link we automatically record technical data, including: IP address, device type, browser and operating system, approximate country and region, referrer URL, a session identifier, an anonymised visitor fingerprint, and timestamps. This data is essential to measure impressions, attribute traffic to the correct affiliate and detect fraud.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to operate and improve the Platform, including to: create and secure accounts; run campaigns and generate tracking links; record impressions and clicks; calculate affiliate earnings and brand spend; detect and prevent invalid, bot, proxy and fraudulent traffic; process deposits and withdrawals; provide analytics and reporting; and send service notifications such as campaign, earnings and payout updates.

3. Tracking Technologies

We use cookies, session identifiers and visitor fingerprints to keep you signed in, remember preferences (such as theme), distinguish unique from returning visits, and protect against fraud. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling them may affect how the Platform functions.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to operate the Platform:

Between users in aggregate: Brands see campaign performance and traffic sources; Affiliates see their own traffic and earnings. We share aggregated, non-identifying metrics rather than visitors' personal details.
Service providers: payment processors (for example, Paystack), email delivery and infrastructure providers that process data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards.
Legal & safety: where required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights, safety and property of Viralspace, our users or the public.

5. Geolocation & Fraud Services

We may use third-party geolocation lookups to determine the approximate country and region of an IP address for targeting and fraud prevention. These lookups process IP addresses and may be cached to improve performance.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal and tracking data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Platform, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and enforce our agreements. Aggregated or anonymised data may be retained for longer.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, including hashed passwords, access controls and protections against common web vulnerabilities. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may update much of it directly in your profile. You may also object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

9. Children's Privacy

The Platform is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.

10. International Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including by our service providers. Where required, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.
